Mentally Active Driver Course (1/2 Day Course)

This is Fleet Safety International's most popular program; over 2000 corporate employees take this program every year. Students learn the latest in Defensive Driving theory as well as participate in practical, hands-on, in-vehicle training that reinforces good driving habits and skills. Students are given professional driver assessments using the FSI 63 Point Driver Assessment as well as 1 on 1 driving time in FSI's specially designed Skid Vehicles. All topics are research based and modular in nature. Programs can be customized to suit the clients needs.


Defensive Driving Course

This program is a government approved Defensive Driving Course and successful participants are eligible for a 3 Demerit Reduction on their driver's license. Students learn the latest in Defensive Driving theory and safe driving programs  that reinforces good driving habits and behaviours. All material is research based and delivered using full multi-media formats. Modern computer generated films, fully-approved 3-Demerit Reduction. Mentally Active Driving. This program teaches the trademarked SAFER System of Defensive Driving.



Mentally Active In-Vehicle Coaching And Evaluation (1 to 2 Hours)

This program is specially designed to meet the needs of corporations who have employees driving as part of their job description. This program is designed to coach drivers to integrate systematic defensive driving behaviors into their driving and provide information on the most effective driving strategies to prevent collisions. Students are given professional driver assessments and coaching using the FSI 39 Point Driver Assessment Based on our SAFER© System of Defensive Driving.


Trailer Towing Level One

The Level One program provides students with a student manual and is taught through a full multi-media presentation. Successful graduates will receive a wallet card and wall certificate. The sponsoring corporation will receive a written report on each participant's readiness to tow trailers and further recommendations if the participant was unsuccessful. The Level One program is an introductory trailer-towing program designed to teach essential towing skills and behaviours. Basic principals, hitching, safety checks, brakes and braking, backing procedures and more.



Energy Sector Driver Improvement (1 Day Course)

This program is specially designed to meet the needs of Energy Sector drivers. This 1 Day course is particularly well suited to meet the needs of companies and drivers who desire more in-depth training and hands-on experience. Students learn the latest in Defensive Driving theory as well as participate in practical, hands-on, in-vehicle training that reinforces good driving habits and skills. Students are given professional driver assessments using the FSI 63 Point Driver Assessment as well as 1 on 1 driving time in FSI's specially designed Skid Vehicles.
