This program is a government-approved Defensive Driving Course and successful participants are eligible for a 3 Demerit Reduction on their driver's license. ENERGY SECTOR DRIVER IMPROVEMENT (1 DAY)
This program is specially designed to meet the needs of Energy Sector drivers. This 1 Day course is particularly well suited to meet the needs of companies and drivers who desire more in-depth training and hands-on experience. Students learn the latest in Defensive Driving theory as well as participate in practical, hands-on, in-vehicle training that reinforces good driving habits and skills. Students are given professional driver assessments using the FSI 63 Point Driver Assessment as well as 1-on-1 driving time in FSI's specially designed Skid Vehicles.
Mentally Active Training
MENTALLY ACTIVE DRIVER COURSE (1/2 DAY)
With over 2000 corporate employees taking this program every year, our half-day Mentally Active Driver Course is the most popular program from Fleet Safety International! Students learn the latest in Defensive Driving theory as well as participate in practical, hands-on, in-vehicle training that reinforces good driving habits and skills. Students are given professional driver assessments using the FSI 63 Point Driver Assessment as well as 1-on-1 driving time in FSI's specially designed Skid Vehicles. All topics are research-based and modular in nature. Programs can be customized to suit the client's needs.
MENTALLY ACTIVE IN-VEHICLE COACHING AND EVALUATION (1 TO 2 HOURS)
This program is specially designed to meet the needs of corporations that have employees driving as part of their job description. This program is designed to coach drivers to integrate systematic defensive driving behaviours into their driving and provide information on the most effective driving strategies to prevent collisions. Students are given professional driver assessments and coaching using the FSI 39 Point Driver Assessment Based on our SAFER System of Defensive Driving.

HIGH-RISK DRIVER COACHING PROGRAM
Studies show that 20% of company drivers cause 60% of the collisions. Through the Fleet Safety International High-Risk Driver Coaching Program, your company can predict those individuals who are most likely to have preventable collisions and provide customized coaching and training to help them become better drivers. In conjunction with the High-Risk Driver Identification Safe Driving Programs (using the WayPointTM Collision Risk Assessment), FSI can identify the top 15% of high-risk drivers in your organization and work to save lives.
TRAILER TOWING LEVEL ONE
The Level One program provides students with a student manual and is taught through a full multi-media presentation. Successful graduates will receive a wallet card and wall certificate. The sponsoring corporation will receive a written report on each participant's readiness to tow trailers and further recommendations if the participant was unsuccessful. The Level One program is an introductory trailer-towing program designed to teach essential towing skills and behaviours. This program covers basic principles, hitching, safety checks, brakes and braking, backing procedures and more.
