The SAFER™System is a program designed by Dr. R.H. Flemmer specifically to meet the needs of corporations throughout the world. The Mentally Active SAFER™ System is not only a Strategic Based system, but is also a Behavior Based system that incorporates the knowledge that regardless of anyone's driving skills, some days we are better drivers then others. The SAFER™system takes core strategic defensive driving concepts and incorporates key research about Adult Learning Theory, Change Theory and Modern Defensive Driving Theory to create a system that focuses on driver Behavior's and attitudes.

While driving, individuals constantly shift through three levels of awareness. Ideally, we would like all drivers to stay in the middle, in a Mentally Active/Proactive state of awareness. This is not realistically possible. The SAFER™System is designed to acknowledge this and help drivers identify when they have drifted away from the center and provide strategies to move them back to the center towards Active Driver Awareness.

FSI can accomodate training needs of any and all sizes. From 1on1 sessions to coordinated classes for entire companies, FSI can provide the solution required. Through the use of the "mobile classroom", FSI can provide full multi-media classroom presentations to virtually any location required.

In numerous programs, Students receive in-vehicle training designed to teach and reinforce good defensive driving skills. Driver Assessments are conducted using the FSI 63 Point Driver Assessment form which provides positive, constructive feedback to both the student and the sponsoring corporation.

New Driver Programs now being offered out of Acadia Recreation Centre

"A" Driving School, our new driver division will now be offering New Driver Education programs out of the Acadia Recreation Centre, located at: 240-90th AVE. S.E. CALGARY, AB. T2J 6P6

Classroom sessions and driving sessions will originate from that location, making it extremely convenient for people in the area and is a great for people not wishing to travel to our main location.

Programs will be offered on the following dates:

July Summer Program July 17, 18 and 19 from 9:00AM - 3:30 PM each day

August Summer Program August 14, 15 and 16 from 9:00AM - 3:30 PM

Saturday Program October 4, 18 and 25

Saturday Program Dec 6, 13 and 20

Online Defensive Driving

Why spend six-hours in a classroom taking a defensive driving course when you can spend the time in the comfort of your own home?

Fleet Safety International's Defensivedriving.ca is a government approved defensive driving course that you can take completely online.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

- 3 Demerit point reduction. All successful course participants are be eligible to have 3 demerits removed from their license
- Insurance Reductions (Some insurance companies give a reduction in rates to course participants).
